James Evans MS said:

"This week is mental health awareness week, an issue that effects all of us at sometime in our lives.

As MS for Brecon and Radnorshire I want to raise the subject of mental health, not just to talk about it.

I plan to work at exposing the causes and creating policies to help reduce the chances of being impacted in the first place, and to ensure mental health is given equal status as physical health across Wales.

Tragically male suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 and men account for 75% of all suicide cases in Wales.

Last night I raised the subject of male mental health on BBC Wales Live - Now is the time for action, not words."
