James Evans MS comments on Chancellor's mini-budget

Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng has announced his mini-budget, which includes the biggest tax cuts since 1988.

The new Chancellor said he wants to "turn the vicious cycle of stagnation into a virtuous cycle of growth".

James said:

“I welcome the Conservative Government’s commitment to economic growth and tax cuts for hard-working people.

“This will massively benefit people across Brecon and Radnorshire, who will have more money in their pockets.

“Combined with the substantial support on energy bills, Conservatives are standing up for everyone across Wales and the United Kingdom.”
