James Evans, MS for Brecon & Radnorshire, visited Westminster this week for a series of meetings with UK Government officials.

This includes the Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP who is Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for Intergovernmental Relations, and the Rt Hon Robert Buckland KC MP who is Secretary of State for Wales.

Discussions centred around how to encourage a positive working relationship between the UK and Welsh Governments, and the importance of UK Government investment in Wales.

James said:

“The meetings were really valuable and gave me a chance to bang the drum for Wales and Brecon & Radnorshire.

“In all the meetings I had, everyone was in full agreement that Wales works best in a strong United Kingdom.

“I look forward to carrying on these discussions and working together in future."
