Today I am launching the James Evans Community Fund. As many of you know, prior to being elected as a Member of the Senedd in May, I was and still am, a serving County Councillor for my home ward of Gwernyfed, near Hay on Wye. I have proudly served as a local councillor since 2017 and will be standing down in May 2022. But between now and then I will be supporting local causes.
There are many local community groups who do not qualify for funding and I wish to use my Councillor allowance to back community groups within my ward of Gwernyfed.
